Reactors

• All Reactor proportioners or metering units are designed to mix two components at a certain ratio, which is usually but not always 1:1. Proportioners provide three main functions: keeping the desired ratio of the two materials being processed, maintaining a certain, very high pressure, and heating the materials to a certain temperature.

• Modern polyurethane, polyurea or hybrid systems perform best within narrowly defined ratios. Our proportioners achieve variances of less than 1% if the temperatures and resulting viscosity are on target. The high pressures provide optimal mixing inside the spray gun.

• Current technology makes it almost impossible to make bad foam or coatings by having incorporated computer controls which maintain ratio, pressures and temperatures or which stop the proportioner should there be a malfunction.
